Things to do

Got some time to kill in Memphis? Here's some fun things to do!!

Kid Friendly:

Memphis Zoo, is a nationally award winning zoo! There's a couple water features that kids can play in, acres and acres of animal exhibits and a tram to take you to the front if you get tired! If you go, please take some time to look around for parking and make sure you park OFF the greensward.

Overton Park, one of the oldest and largest natural forest protectorates inside the city. There are 2 large playgrounds (1 mile apart), 18 hole golf course, a small lake and 3.7 miles of trails. This is free to the public and always beautiful and green! Rainbow Lake Playground is off poplar and is a family favorite!

Children's Museum of Memphis, CMOM, is a GIANT kids indoor educational and entertainment world! The exhibits change regularly, but the grocery, bank and climbing center are there to stay! This is especially suited for children under 10.

Pink Palace Museum, is a beautiful landmark in our city. The natural history of the midsouth, cultural history of the midsouth are both mainstay exhibits and The Dinosaurs are the current featured exhibit. There's a CGI Theatre and Imax for viewing adventures!
